Jason Wolske, Director & Brand Creative Lead

If you could attribute one other person or life event to your success, who or what would it be and why?

There isn’t a specific life event, but I credit a good chunk of my success to the how I was raised. I was encouraged to explore, and create, and build, and fail, and get back up, and listen, and to be empathic and respectful. And to never stop learning or trying something new. Without rad parents and three siblings, I don’t think I’d be who or where I am today.

What is the number one quality you look for in talent?

Creativity in their everyday life, not just advertising. I find that people who have creative outlets outside of work are usually the ones who bring unique insights and perspectives to the table. Advertising should be as entertaining as the arts. I try to find talent that carry that sorta magic in their soul.

What part of your role as a leader do you find most rewarding?

Leading creatives in a direction that helps them see the potential of their own nuggets of an idea and watching them evolve those ideas is a very special feeling. Once the crafting begins and they get excited about what they’re creating – that’s a win for me. When the spotlight is on the teams and their work, I believe I’ve done a great job.
